Mrs. J. E. Nye, Fairmont, R.2.

   Mrs. J. E. Nye died yesterday at 11 a.m. at her home on R. 2 from Fairmont.
Deceased had bee in ill health for serveral months. Her husband and five 
children survive. The funeral was conducted from the home at 2:30 this 
afternoon by Rev. R. A. Hedgepeth and interment made in the family cemetery. 
Deceased was a member of Big Branch Baptist church and was well and favorably 
known.


Additional Comments:
Edith Hedgpeth was born Aug 29, 1846 and died Nov 27, 1951.
She married James Evander Nye on Dec 10, 1873. He was born on Aug 27, 1850 and 
died Dec 5, 1940.
She was the daughter of Arthur Hedgpeth Jr. and Elizabeth Lewis.
