Mr H. ODUM Dead
A correspondent from Raft Swamp writes: About two o’clock Sunday afternoon, 
the sad news spread abroad of the death of Mr H. ODUM. For some time he has 
been in a critical condition and his death was not unexpected. His death is a 
great loss to the community. He leaves nine children, an aged father, three 
sisters and one brother to mourn their loss. Only about three months ago his 
wife and oldest son passed away. This community suffers great loss from these 
deaths.
