ROBESONIAN: 11 SEP 1913

Death of Mr. Stephen Pitman.

Mr. Stephen Pitman, 94 years old died Monday in Wishart's Township, in the lower
part of the Burnt Islands, at the home of his son Mr. Nathan Pitman with whom he
lived.  Two other sons,  Messrs., Sampson Pittman and Lewis Pittman, who live in
the same section also survive.  The remains were interred in the family grave
yard Tuesday.

Son of Nancy Britt, daughter of Samuel Elias Britt and Dorcas Baggett, And,
Sampson Pitman son of Sion Pitman and Elizabeth “Betsy” Glare, daughter of
Stephen and Mary Glare.

Married: Martha Huggins

Children are: Lewis, Sara Jane, Nancy, Stephen, Thomas Hayes, Sampson, George
Ann, Henry, Nathan, and Mary M. Pitman.
