Gladys Frye Pittman, age 90, passed away Friday, August 12, 2016, at
her home. She was born in Scotland County on April 7, 1926 and was
formerly employed as a child caregiver at Kiddy Corner. She was a
long-time member of Godwin Heights Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel & Minnie Frye; her
husband, Lacy McKenzie Pittman, Sr.; her brother, William Frye; and
her sister, Agnes Etters.

She is survived by her son, Lacy Pittman, Jr. and wife Debbie of Holly
Springs; one grandson, Ashley Pittman of Holly Springs; and one
sister, Laura West of Spring Lake.

A time of visitation will take place prior to the service on Sunday,
August 14, 2016, from 1:00-2:45 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc.

Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM at
Floyd Memorial Chapel with Dr. Lynn Bullock & Rev. Ron West
officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Faith Cemetery.
