R. Powers Prominent Howellsville Women Died Last Night Following Extended Illness. ___________ Funeral service will be conducted from Ten Mile Baptist Church at 4:30 p. m. today by Rev. G. Scott Turner of Lumber Bridge, pastor, for Mrs. Ann Powers, 70, wife of Mr. M. R. Powers of the B. T. section, who died at her home Sunday at 8:10 p. m. after having been confined to bed for 3 months with stomach trouble. Interment will be made in the church cemetery. Surviving are her husband, 5 children – Mrs. J. D. Monroe or Tar Heel, Miss Sue, Messer’s. Milton, George and Clarence Powers of the homestead; a sister – Mrs. Ira Flowers, Lumberton; 3 brothers – Messer’s, W. S., J.
