MRS. H. P. POWERS

Mrs. H. P. Powers, 78, died this morning at 1:30 at her home on Lumberton, Rt.
1, after several years of ill health.
 
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 3 p.m. at Barker Methodist Church, with
Rev. J. D. Aycock in charge.  Interment will be in the church cemetery.  The
body will remain at Biggs Funeral Home until one hour to the funeral when it
will be carried to the church.

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. J. P. Dew of Lumberton, Rt. 1, and a foster
son, Charles Patterson of Lumberton; four grandchildren, Morris, Betty, Jerry
and Linda Dew of Lumberton, Rt. 1.
