J.S POWERS OF B.T. SECTION PASSES

J.S. Powers, 56, of Lumberton, R. 1, B.T. section, died this afternoon at 3:30
in Baker sanatorium, following an operation Monday for ruptured appendix.
Funeral arrangements had not been made as The Robesonian went to press.

 
Surviving are his widow and 1 daughter, Miss Mabel Esther; 1 brother, Graham, of
St. Pauls; 3 sisters, Mrs. E.T. Taylor of Lumberton, Mrs. Hatcher of Richmond,
Va., and Mrs. Craig of Pennsylvania
