Mr. Otto PREVATT
Well Known Farmer Dies at Home of Brother in Back Swamp Township---Funeral and 
Interment This Morning
Funeral services of Mr. Otto PREVATT who died early yesterday morning at the 
home of his brother, Mr. R.R PREVATT, in Back Swamp Township, were conducted 
this morning at 10 o’clock at the home by Dr. Chas. H. DURHAM, pastor of the 
First Baptist church of Lumberton. Interment was made in the family burying 
ground near the home.
Deceased was 56 years old, and a well-known farmer. He never married and 
during the past five years had made his home with his brother, with whom he 
was living at the time of his death. A large crowd of sorrowing friends and 
relatives attended the services.
Surviving are two sisters and two brothers, Mrs. Pink BRITT of Lumberton and 
Mrs. Warren PREVATT of Rt 2 from Lumberton; Messrs R.R. and J.O. PREVATT of 
near Lumberton.

[Note: "Otto" was William Arthur PREVATT, son of James PREVATT and Frances 
MITCHELL. He was born 4 Mar 1868.]
