Alfred Rowland Dead. Fayetteville joins with Lumberton in mourning for the death of her foremost citizen, Col. Alfred Rowland. A special dispatch from Lumberton last night says: Col. Alfred Rowland, member of the Fiftieth and Fifty-first Congress from the Sixth District, died last night. He was 58 years old. He was one of the purest and noblest men in the State. He will be buried tomorrow in the Presbyterian church yard. Rev. Dr. Black will preach the funeral. People from remote parts of the county are here already to attend the funeral.
