Sealy of Orrum Rt.1, Sunday March 15, of pneumonia. Funeral services were held at Bethesda Methodist church of which he was a good and faithful member, at 10 a.m. Tuesday, conducted by his pastor Rev. J.E. Blalcok, and interment was made in the church cemetery. Pallbearers were David Britt, Morris Hardin, Wilton Britt, Bicket Bass, Winston Herring, Johnnie Herring, members of the tenth grade, of which he was a member, at Barnesville high school. The flowers were in charge of high school girls assisted by Miss Miriam Watson. The designs were lovely and abundant and the crowd in attendance was large. He is survived by his parents Mr. and Mrs. George D. Sealy; 3 brothers, Willie, Horace and Harold; 3 sisters Georgia Etta, Melba and Elmira. The sweet memory of their brother and son will be cherished. Berdell was converted to the Lord Jesus at the age of ten and became a member of the church. He was loyal to its services and his pastor. He enjoyed going to church and was a great lover of the Lord, his people and his word. Although he lived only a short while, we shall miss him. Additional Comments: Berdell Sealy was born in 1920 and died March 15, 1936 at age 16. He was the son of George Duncan Sealy and Julia McLellan.
