James Elwood Sessoms

   Fairmont -- James Elwood Sessoms, 75, of 203 Jenkins St., a retired 
merchant, died Sunday at Southeastern General Hospital.  Funeral services will 
be held Tuesday at 3 p.m. in the Chapel of Prevatte Funeral Home conducted by 
his pastor, Dr. Thomas L. Rich Jr., and the Rev. Michael Colier. Burial will 
follow in Floyd Memorial Cemetery.
  Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Edna Ruth Bullock Sessoms; one son, James Howard 
Sessoms of Fairmont; one sister, Mrs. Estelle S. Huggins of Laurinburg; two 
grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
   The family will receive friends tonight from 7-9 at Prevatte Funeral Home.

From the Contributor:  James Elwood Sessoms was born Sep 8, 1907 and died Mar 
20, 1983. He was married to Edna Ruth Bullock born Jun 4, 1911 and died Oct 25, 
1997. He was the son of James Carroway Sessoms and Comfort Storms.
