Mrs. Malinda Smith, Near Allenton.
 
   Mrs. Malinda Smith, aged 76 years,
died at 4 o’clock this morning at the
home of her son, Mr. H. E. Thomp-
son, with whom she lived, near Allen-
ton.  Deceased had been in ill health
for three months and her death was
not unexpected.  The funeral will be
conducted tomorrow at 11 a. m. from
Antioch church by Rev. A. E. Paul,
pastor of East Lumberton Baptist
church, of which deceased was a mem-
ber.  Interment will be made in the
Belch cemetery, near Antioch church.

MALINDA ANN ELIZABETH HAMMOND PREVATT THOMPSON SMITH, daughter of Eli Hammond and 
wife Nicie Mariah Smith Hammond.  Buried in the Belch Cemetery.
