MRS. NOLAN SPEIGHTS.

            Lumberton R. 6 April 27 – Mrs. Nolan Speights died at the county 
home April 25.  She was 81 years of age.  Mrs. Speights was a good Christian 
woman and she will be missed very much by the people of the home.  She had 
been a consistent member of the Baptist church for 50 years and after coming 
to the county home she joined the Christian Union church here and lived a 
consistent Christian life until her death.

            She leaves a husband, 84 years old, 8 children, one sister, Mrs. 
John Sanders.  The funeral service was conducted Thursday evening by Rev. J. 
W. Parham, and her body was laid to rest in the county home cemetery.
