        J. D. Stewart
 
   J. D. Stewart, 83, of Buies
Creek, father of Mrs. W. O. Dor-
man of Pembroke, died Tuesday
and was buried Wednesday.  Mr.
Stewart was a prominent farmer.
He was a member of the Baptist
church at Buies Creek, Mr. and
Mrs. W. O. Dorman and the little
granddaughter, Peggy Tyner, at-
tended the funeral.  The many
friends of Mrs. Dorman sympa-
thize with her in her bereave-
ment.

Additional comments:  Peggy Tyner, listed in the above notice is now Mrs. Peggy 
Tyner Townsend of Red Springs, NC, and the compiler and publisher of three 
volumes of Vanishing Ancestors, cemetery records of Robeson County, North
