ROBESONIAN: 25 JULY 1902

Died Tuesday

Mr. Henry Taylor died at his home, near here, Tuesday, in the seventy fifth year
of his age.  The remains were interred near the homestead and the funeral was
preached by Rev. I. P. Hedgpeth.
He was the father of a large family and a respected citizen whose departure will
be mourned by many friends.

Henry Taylor: born 23 Dec 1831 in the Burnt Islands of Robeson County, North
Carolina.
Died:  22 July 1902                           

Son of Jennett Cook & Henry Taylor: brother of Lemeul, Lucia and Nancy Taylor.

Married: 14 Jul 1857 in Robeson, North Carolina to: Susan Ivey, daughter of
Leonard Ivey and Cuzzie Stone.

Children of Henry Taylor and Susan Ivey are: Lizzie, F. W., Jack, John Marion,
Susan, Edmond Tucker, Franklin Arwood, Johannah, Andrew Jackson, Nettie, M. E.,
Willie F., Henry and Pearlie Taylor.
