The Robesonian, Jun 21, 1915
Mr. Thomas Walters the oldest man in this community, aged 82, died and was 
buried Saturday.  The funeral service was conducted by Rev. W.W. Willis. 
Mr. Walters lived with one of his sons on R.F.D. 1., from Fairmont.

Additional Comments:
Thomas Walters was born Feb 26, 1822 Robeson County, and died Jun 18, 1915 
Robeson County. He was the son of Dawson Walters born 1786 and Nancy Johnson 
born 1790. 
Thomas was married to Rhoda Lewis born Aug 19, 1823 and died May, 27, 1905 
Robeson County.
