Robeson Man Dies from Cuttng Scrape
 
   Roy Walters, 38, wounded about 2 months ago in a cutting scrape at a filling 
station on the Lumberton Fayetteville road on the edge of Cumberland county, 
died Tuesday in a Fayetteville hospital.  Claude (Froggy) Faircloth is held in 
the Cumberland county jail charged with the cutting.
   Roy Walters was a World War Veteran, a native of Robeson County. He is 
survived by his widow and the following brothers and sisters.  Melton of 
Fairmont, Fulton of Autryville, Austin of St. Pauls, Mrs J. E. Evans of 
Autryville, Mrs R B Owen of St. Pauls, Mrs Cary Melvin and George Walters of 
Fayetteville.
Funeral rites were conducted in St. Pauls Wednesday afternoon.

He was the son of Joseph Allen Walters and Henrietta Johnson Walters.
