Mrs. Susan Ward's Rites Wednesday

   Mrs. Susan Nye Ward, 78, of Dillon S.C., formerly of the Orrum section of 
Robeson County died Monday morning about 5:30 o'clock at her home.  She was the 
wife of N.H. Ward.
   Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 3 o'clock from Stephen 
Funeral home here, and burial will be in the Bladen Union church cemetery near 
St. Pauls. The rites are tentatively set for Wednesday, pending the arrival of 
her son, H. N. Ward of Toledo, Ohio. Rev. I. P. Hedgepeth will conduct the 
rites. 
   Surviving are her husband; one son, H. N. Ward of Teledo, Ohio: one sister, 
Mrs. Isham Britt, of Lumberton; and several nieces and nephews. She has a 
number of other relatives living in Robeson County.

Additional Comments:
Susan Nye was born in 1871 and died Nov 13, 1949. 
She was the daughter of James Nye and Rosanna Barnes.
She was married to H. N. Ward.
