MRS. JESSIE WEST
 
Well Known East Lumberton Woman
   Succombs in Heart Disease – Fun-
   eral and Interment Yesterday.
 
   Funeral services for Mrs. Jessie
West, who died Saturday at the home
of her brother-in-law and sister, Mr.
and Mrs. W. J. Alexander in East
Lumberton, were conducted yesterday
afternoon at the home of Rev. E. A.
Paul.  Intermade was made in the
cemetery near Antioch church, where
a large number of friends gathered
to pay last respects.  Heart trouble
was the cause of death.
   Deceased was 35 years old and well
known.  She was a daughter of the
late Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence M’White,
and leaves, besides her husband, two
daughters – Misses Alberta and Susie;
two sons – Masters Frank and S. P.;
two sisters – Mrs. W. P. Alexander of
East Lumberton and Mrs. J. S. Currie
of R. 7 from Lumberton; five brothers,
Messrs. L. L. and Loyd of R.
7 from Lumberton, Messrs. Troy and
E. L. of Lumberton, and Mr. S. M. of
Asheville.
