ROBESONIAN: FRIDAY, JANUARY 5, 1951

SAM WEST DIES EARLY TODAY.

Sam West, 48, of Lumberton, died this morning of a cerebral hemmorrhage in the 
Thompson Divisionof Robeson County Memorial Hospital, which he had entered 
yesterday afternoon.

Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock at Antioch Baptist 
Church. Burial will be in the New Hollywood Cemetery.

Surviving are his wife, one son, Marvin West, and one daughter, Virginia Belle 
West of the home; two sisters, Mrs. Sallie Norton and Mrs. R. C. Todd of 
Lumberton, one brother, C. D. West of Lumberton.

Mr. West was connected with the Liberty Oil Co. of Lumberton.
