December 7, 1908--Mr. Alexander Wilkerson, 63 years old, died Monday night of 
last week at his home two miles east of Lumberton after an illness of only a 
few days.  He was an excellant citizen who was held in high esteem where he 
was best known.  the funeal was conducted Tuesday afternoon by Rev. C.H. 
Durham, pasotr of the Baptist church of Lumberton, and the remains were 
interred in the North Lumberton cemetery.
