MR. JOHN T. WILKINS DIED
   SUDDENLY CHRISTMAS A. M.
 
Waked Members of His Family and
   Complained of His Head, and Died
   In a Short While – Widow and 9
   Children Survive.
 
   Mr. John T. Wilkins, about 50
years old, died suddenly about 3:30
a.m. Christmas Day at his home near
Allenton and the funeral and inter-
ment took place Friday afternoon at
the old home place near Mr. Geo.
Wilkins’
   Mr. Wilkins had been in declining
health for some time but not confin-
ed to his bed.  He complained of his
head when he waked members of his
family about 3:30 Christmas morning
and died in a short while thereafter. 
He was a member of the Antioch
Baptist church.  His second wife and
9 children survive.
