Wilkinson GEORGETOWN, Texas Mr. Alex W. Wilkinson, 91, of 205 W. 24th St., Georgetown, died Friday, Oct. 6, 2000 in Georgetown. He was formerly of Burlington and of Maxton. N. C. A native of Robeson County, he was the husband of Mrs. Dorothy Wilkinson, who survives, and the son of Mr. Daniel Wilkinson, and Mrs. Martha Jane O’Brien Wilkinson, both deceased. He was a farmer and textile worker for Burlington Mills and a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Georgetown. Formerly he was a deacon of Centre Presbyterian Church in Robeson county, N. C. Survivors other than his wife of the home, are a daughter, Mrs. Johnny (Dorothy) Dunlap Sr., of Georgetown; two grandchildren; and five great- grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Ms. Effie Leach Wilkinson Burke. The graveside service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Alamance Memorial Park. The family will be at the Alamance Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel one hour before the service. McClure Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
