ROBESON COUNTY, NC - OBITUARIES - Tince Walters, 31 May 1927 ----¤¤¤¤---- Mr Tince Walters Dies At Barnesville Stricken With Heart Trouble While in Field and Dies Within Few Minutes---Funeral and Interment at Bethesda Church. Mr Tince Walters, aged about 55, died at his home a mile and a half from Barnesville Tuesday afternoon when he went into his field to carry water to some farm hands. Mr Walters was in apparently good health before going into the field, and conversing with the laborers. He was stricken and died within a few minutes. Funeral Services were conducted from Bethesda Church Wednesday afternoon, and interment was made there. Deceased is survived by one son, Mr Guthrie Walters and his wife, Fannie Andrews Walters. From the Contributor: Tince Walters was born in Robeson County on October 29, 1872 and died May 31, 1927. He married Fannie Andrews on November 14, 1895.
