ROBESON COUNTY, NC - OBITUARIES - Ezra J Walters, 28 May 1978

   Red Springs__Ezra Joshua Walters, 91 died Sunday, Funeral Services will 
be held at 11 am Tuesday at Trinity United Methodist Church, conducted by the 
Rev. Kermit Wheeler and the Rev. Howard Whitehurst. Burial will be in Alloway 
Cemetery. 

   He was a retired merchant and postmaster for Wakulla Post Office. 

   Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Gladys Nicholson, Wakulla, Mrs. 
Truman Brock, Laurinburg, and Mrs. Warren Sanford, Sylvia; one sister, Mrs. 
Bessie Kennedy, Dudley; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.

County NC and died May 28, 1978. On Nov 24, 1909 he married Verna Jenette Smith. 
Ezra Joshua was the son of Joseph B. Walters and Rebecca Ann Shepherd.
