Robeson County, NC - Obituary of Maston Walters, 1954 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Maston Walters Barnesville -- Maston Walters, 74, of the Flowers Crossing section, near Barnesville died at the Robeson County Memorial Hospital, last evening at 7:10 o'clock after an illness of several weeks, The funeral will be held at the Bethesda Methodist Church, Sunday afternoon at three o'clock, conducted by the pastor Rev. A. L. Reynolds; a former pastor, Rev. Paul Edwards of Roseboro, and Rev. A. P. Stephens of Lumberton. Burial will be in the Fairmont Cemetery. The body will be at the Prevatte Funeral Home in Fairmont until tomorrow, when it will be taken to the home near Barnesville. Mr. Walters is survived by his wife, Mrs. Cattie Johnson Walters; three daughters, Mrs. Paul Harrington, Fairmont, Mrs. Martin Branch, Lumberton, Mrs. Wilbur Rogers, Newport News, Va.; six sons, Ashby, Leo and Forrest Walters, all of Orrum, Aytch and Early Walters, both of Rennert, and Joe Walters of Marietta.
