County Court Minutes 1797-1813, North Carolina, Superior Court (Robeson County)

[Deeds were always either "acknowledged in open court" or "proved by oath 
of...." and then ordered to be registered; to eliminate redundancy, these have 
been abstracted simply as "acknowledged" or "proved by...."]

Ordered that the Cler(/) the deposition of (/) deed from Richard M(/) to (/) 
to same(?) justice in Montgome(/).  

Ordered that the Clerk issue (/) for the following persons to wit (/) 
McLaughlan (?) for 200 acres No. 1131 entere(/) office of John Cade one for 
Hugh B(/) acres No. 1011 entered in the office of (/) one for Hugh Brown for 
ten acres N(/) in Brown (?) office

The court proceeded to the election of a She(/) when Robert Haells Esquire was 
duly elected as such who entered into bond with John Willis and Thomas 
Barnes... his securities and took the necessary oaths fo(/) as such when the 
following Ju(/) to wit Joshua Pharoah Daniel(/) McKay George Moore Norman McLa
(/) Queen Elias Barnes Thomas Barnes S(/) Joseph Regan Alexander Patterson
