Tuesday January 2nd Day 1798

Court met according [to] adjournment

Present the worshipful Joshua Pharoah Thomas Barnes & George 
Moore Esquires

The Sheriff returned the Venire Facias from which the court selected 
the following to attend as Grand Jurors this term 
/ to wit / Andrew Fulmore Foreman John Humphrey James Humphrey 
William Thompson John McEachern Daniel Johnston Daniel Rae John 
McBride John Thompson Charles Thompson Robert McLachlan Wm 
Townsend & Nathaniel Nicoles and Samuel Biggs constable sworn to 
attend them

Ordered that Thomas Townsend be overseer of the road in room of 
Nazara Mitchel

On application John Clibourns mark is admitted to be a crop and two 
slits in the left ear & under square in the right

Ordered that James Kelly be overseer of the road in room of Lachlan 
Rae
