Court met according to adjournment

Present the worshipful David Torry Daniel McPhaul & Archibald Buie 
Esquires

Ordered that William Maurice be overseer of the road in room of 
James Moore and Emanuel Carter & Peter Purvat be added to his 
district

Daniel Howston allowed twelve pounds as an invalid militia sold[i]er for 
this year

Ordered that John Dow be overseer of the streets in Lumberton in 
room of William Moore

Deed from Robert Haills to Angus Gilchrist proved by Daniel Molloy

Deed from Angus Gilchrist to Malcom Walker acknowledged

John Cain allowed ten pounds as an invalid militia soldier for this year

Isaac Kennedy allowed five pounds as an invalid militia soldier for this 
year

Ordered that the road be discontinued that leads from Henry Popes to 
Joseph Lees and the hands that worked on that road work on other 
roads as usual

Ordered that Thomas Barnes John Regan & Joshua Pharoah Esquires 
settle with Joel Dawson Exr to the estate of Archibald Byrd deceased 
and report their proceedings to next court

Ordered that Neill McEacharn Junr be overseer of the road in room of 
William Traywick

Bill of sale from John Fort to Elias Ard for two Negroes named Peter & 
Tom acknowledged
