Administration on the estate of Samuel Powers is granted to Leven 
Powers who qualified as such & entered into bond in the sum of two 
hundred pounds with John Powers his security and returned an 
inventory of said estate

Hector McKinzie & Alexander McKinzie exempt from working on 
publick roads provided they keep the bridge in good order across the 
little marsh known by the name of McKinzies Bridge

Court adjourned untill tomorrow nine oclock

Tuesday January the 7th 1800

Court met according to adjournment

Present the worshipful Joseph Regan John Flowers & Duncan 
Campbell Esquires

Daniel Johnston & William McNeill who was appointed by a dedimus 
potestatum and commission of the peace came into court & qualified 
as Justices and took their seats accordingly

Ordered that Duncan McBride be overseer of the road in room of 
Daniel McIntosh

On application Joseph Wood Esqr is admited to erect a gate across 
the bridge at the great swamp provided he do not put a lock to the 
same

Ordered that James Smith and Archiband Munson hereafter work on 
the road under John McBride overseer

Deed of gift from Charles Thompson Senr to Charles Thompson Junr 
proved by Josiah Barnes

Deed of gift from Charles Thompson Senr to Mary Butler proved by 
Charles Thompson Junr

Deed from Charles Lucas to Joab Willis proved by Even Ellis

Deed from Nelson Kennedy to Duncan Buie proved by Peter Messer
