Bill of sale from Daniel Regan to William Townsend for a Negroe girl 
named Mary proved by David Leggett

Deed from Robert Sims to Corneelus Wingate proved by Robert Haills

Deed from Sion Alford to James Cade acknowledged

Deed from Patrick Kelly to Hugh McColl acknowledged

Ordered that Daniel Campbell Duncan McNeills hands Archd McNeill 
and Hector McNeill fidler work on the road leading from Fayetteville by 
McPhaulls under Hector McNeill overseer

Ordered that Needham & Alexander Rowland & William Bennet be 
patroles in Captain Lees district

The court proceeded to lay a county tax for the year 1799 when they 
assess one shilling on the poll four pence on every hundred acres of 
land & one shilling on every hundred pounds town property

Jacob Rhodes appointed County Comptroller who qualified as such

Ordered that Levan Powers administrator to the estate of Saml Powers 
sell the personal part of the deceaseds estate

Ordered that William Baxley be overseer of the road from Lumberton 
to the ten mile swamp

Ordered that Thomas Barnes be permited to turn the road opposite his 
plantation so as to make it straight a quarter of a mile each way from 
his house

Josiah Barnes allowed twenty pounds for his extra services for the year 
1799 & Robert Haill sheriff thirty five pounds for said year

John Thompson bound apprentice to John McNeill untill he arrive to 
the age of twenty one years now being twelve

A power of attorney from Abraham Dubois & Samuel Mecker was 
presented in open court when it appeared that the same had been 
acknowledged before the Mayor of the city of Philedelphia & recorded 
when the same is her admited to record & ordered to be registered

Court adjourned untill tomorrow nine oclock

Thursday January 9th 1800

Court met according to adjournment

Present the worshipful James Cade Esquire

Court adjourned untill tomorrow twelve oclck

Friday January the 10th 1800

Court met according to adjournment

Present the worshipful George Moore Esquire
