these have been abstracted simply as "acknowledged" or "proved

At a county court of pleas and Quarter sessions begun and held for the 
county of Robeson on monday the seventh day of July and twenty fifth 
year of American Independence AD 1800

Present the worshipful John Fort Noah Pitman & George Moore

The sheriff returned the Venire Facias from which the court selected 
the following gentlemen to attend as grand jurors during this term / to 
wit / Albritain Drake foreman Rhoderick McNair Archibald Gilchrist 
John Willis Henry Pope Malcom McNeill John Clibourn John Campbell 
John Pope William Baxley John Smith Douglas Powell & Jacob Blount. 
And John Blount constable sworn to attend them 

Ordered that Thomas Musslewhite be overseer of the road in room of 
William Baxley

Ordered that Jesse Smith be overseer of the road in room of Samuel 
Smith

Agerton Willis who was appointed as a justice of the peace by a 
dedimus potestatum & commission of the peace came into court & 
took the necessary oaths for his qualification as such and took his seat 
accordingly

was returned by the Executors of William Bird and inventory of the 
deceased's estate which was ordered to be filed

Ordered that the sheriff summon the following gentlemen to lay of a 
road from Genl Willis's bridge the nearest & best way to bear swamp at 
or near John Chisloms & from there to the red banks on Drowning 
Creek / to wit / John Chislom Thomas Edwards Marmaduke Etheredge 
Stephen Cumbo Hardy Aguien Charles Barker Henry Sizemore Elisha 
Cumbo James Jackson Lewis Jenkins Saul Cumboe Aaron Cumboe 
John Comboe Charles McDugald Daniel McDugald & Elias Best

Solomon Grice bound apprentice to William Moore untill he arrive to 
the age of twenty one years now being fifteen

Deed from Moses Grantham to William Bennet acknowledged

Deed from Samuel Dubois attorney in fact for Abraham Dubois and 
Samuel Meeker to David Legatt proved by John P Martin

Deed from John Smith to John McLean proved by Angus Curry

Deed from William Baxley to Caleb Baxley acknowledged

Deed from Colin Lindsay to John McNeill Duncan McNeill Lauchlan 
McNeil Normand Stewart John McEacharn and Alexander McLeod 
Trustees of the Beverdam Church proved by Duncan McBride
