these have been abstracted simply as "acknowledged" or "proved

Wednesday July the 9th 1800

Court met according to adjuournment

Present the worshipful Robert Haills John Rowland & Agerton Willis 
Esquires

John McInnis / shoe heal / exempt from paying a tax as a retailer of 
spiritous liquors which he appeared to be charged with by mistake

Ordered that William Moore & Jonathan Wishart Esquires divide the 
estate of William Bird Deceased agreeable to his will

William Moore & Robert Haills allowed eight pounds for repairing the 
bridge across the creek at Lumberton

John Blount & John Biggs constables allowed twenty four shillings 
each for three days attendance this term

Ordered that the county trustee imploy some person to repair the court 
house & pay the person imployed for which he shall be allowed in his 
settlement with the court

Ordered that George Moore Robert Haill & Joshua Pharoah Esquires 
examine the papers of the former county comptroller and compair 
them with his statement & if they agree with his statement to destroy 
them

Ordered that the county treasurer pay to John Blount fifty shillings 
which appeared to the court to be paid to some former treasurer on a 
suit of bastardy against said Blount
