At a county court of pleas and quarter sessions begun and held for the 
county of Robeson on Monday the sixth day of October & twenty year 
of American Independence AD 1800

Present the worshipful John Regan John Fort & Joseph Regan 
Esquires

Ordered that John Chislom be overseer of the new road that leads 
from Willis's Brid[g]e on drowning creek to Gilchrists Brid[g]e at the red 
banks

Ordered that the sheriff summon Matthew Powers Hugh McKay Alfred 
Rowland Alexander Rowland & Archibald McNeill to attend as Jurors at 
the next Superior Court for the district of Fayetteville

The following Jurors fined five shillings each for their non attendance 
this day / to wit / Silas Drake William Sterling James Kelley Daniel Buie 
Neill Buie Neill Buie Junr John McArthur Archd McNeill Neill Murphy 
Benjamin Edwards John McCorvey
