Thursday October the 9th 1800

Court met according to adjournment

Present the worshipful John Regan Noah Pitman & John Fort Esquire

Notice to issue to Elisha Herrell to appear at next term to show cause 
why the indentures of Nancy Smith should be not  canceled

On motion it was agreed the plaintiff in the suit Robert Sims vs John & 
Mathew Council should have leave to amend his declaration when they 
granted the prayer of his petition and ordered a certificate thereof to be 
forwarded to the secratary

Ordered that all the hands between the white oak swamp and the ten 
mile swamp hereafter work on Regans road

John Blount and John Regan constables allowed thirty two shillings 
each for four day attendance each this term

Deed from Angus Gilchrist to John Fergusson proved by Malcom 
Currie

Deed from John Hall to Malcom Hall proved by Thomas Hall

James Russel appointed standard keeper who entered into bond with
