Ordered that John Furguson be overseer of the road in room of 
Duncan McBride

Ordered that John Blunt have leave to turn the road leading by his 
house to Lumberton provided he make the part so turned in good 
passable order

A dedimus to issue to some justice in Cumberland County to take the 
deposition of James Washburn on behalf of David Legatt in a suit 
brought by John Legatt against him giving the plaintiff twenty days 
notice

Ordered that the admrs of Wright Legatt sell as much of the perishable 
property of the deceased as will pay his debts

Whereas there was a dedimus directed to John Ellis Esquire in Bladen 
County to take the private examination of Sarah Harvey touching the 
execution of a deed by her self & husband Travers Harvey Bartram 
Robison Jonathan Robison & William Robison to John Blount In 
pursuance of said dedimus the said John Ellis Esquire returned under 
his hand & seal the private examination of said Sarah Harvey seting 
forth that she acknowledged and declared her assent to the execution 
of said deed that she done it freely voluntary and of her own accord, & 
at this term the execution of said deed was proved by the oath of Thos 
Barnes & ordered to be registered

Court adjourned untill tomorrow nine oclock

Friday January 9th 1801

John Blunt and John Regan constables allowed fourty shillings each 
for five days attendance each this term

Peter Lamon John Storm & James Biggs who was appointed 
commissioners to draw a plan for a court house when they drew one 
and presented it to court which was accepted and ordered to be filed

Ordered that the sheriff summon the following gentlemen to attend as
