Ordered that Newet Pitman be added to the district known as Henry 
Popes and that he be overseer of the road in room of Henry Pope

Deed from David Howel to Henry Pope proved by Jacob Pope

Deed from Charles Bullock to Hardy Pitman proved by James Pitman

Deed from Joseph Regan to Mary Herring proved by John Regan Junr

Deed from Michael Herring to Mathes Harden proved by Mosser

Deed from Robert Haills to Alexander McGeachie acknowledged

Kader Gilbert bound apprentice to Luke Carter untill he arrive to the 
age of twenty one years now being seven

The jury who were appoin[t]ed last court to lay of a road from the state 
line near Blues Bridge to the county line near the rockey ford bridge 
reported to this court that they have laid of the same

Ordered that all the hands north east of a line begining at Leiths creek 
just above Malcom McInnis and thence direct to shoe heel below 
Daniel McInnis / weavers / do work onthe new road from Blues Bridge 
to the rocky ford and that Neill McInnis be overseer of the same

Ordered that Malcom McInnis be overseer of the road in room of Neil 
McInnis

The sheriff who was ordered to summon a jury to lay of the dower of 
Elizabeth Legatt widow of Wright Legatt deceased reported that he 
summoned a jury for that purpose & made return of the proceedings of 
said jury which was ordered to be filed

Tuesday July the 7th 1801

Court met according to adjournment

Present the worshipful Elias Barnes Joseph Wood & Sion Alford 
Esquires

John Johnston who some courts ago had a child bound to him by the 
name of Mary Drury at this court he gave up the said child when the 
court ordered the indentures to be canselled?

Ordered that the plan of the court house be altered from 36 by 24 feet 
to 36 by 28 feet the whole to be compleated agreeable to the plan 
before the first day of January 1803

A power of attorney from ? Willis to Gilbert Willis proved by Alexander 
Willis

Ordered that Lewis Ivey be overseer of the road in room of George 
Fields Senr

Ordered that Frederick Davis be overseer of the road in room of 
Absalom Davis

Ordered that Gilbert Brumble pay to Phebe Cox seven pounds for this 
year for the maintenance of a bastard child whereon he stands 
charged as the reputed father
