oath of...." and then ordered to be registered; to eliminate redundancy, 
these have been abstracted simply as "acknowledged" or "proved 
by...."]

Ordered that all the hands in the fork of the raft Swamp & Drownding 
Creek up to Lowrys road and from thence to Godfrey McNeils Bridge 
on the raft Swamp work under William Townsand overseer who is 
hereby appointed to work on the Bridge over Drownding Creek below 
said Townsands plantation and as far as that District extends untill the 
Bridge is compleated and then to work as before

Robert Haills who was appointed Corroner yeaster. came into court 
today and entered into bond with John Fullerton Esqr & Thomas Sewell 
Esqr as his securitys and took the necessary oaths for his qualification 
as such

Deed from Thomas Barnes to Joseph Betton acknowledged

Ordered that the hands under Joel Pitman overseer work on the road 
as far as across the first Bridge in Ashpole Swamp as they formerly did

Ordered that Needham Rowland be overseer of the road in room of 
Moses Hill

Ordered that Thos Davis administrator of the estate of Philomon Arnet 
Deceased sell the personal part of said estate
