At a county court of pleas and Quarter sessions begun and held for the 
County of Robeson on Monday the fifth day of April and twenty sixth 
year of American Independence AD 1802

Present the worshipful William Norment Agerton Willis & Stephen 
Sterling Esquires

The sheriff returned the Venire Facias from which the court selected 
the following gentemen to attend as grand Jurors during this term / to 
wit / Jacob Rhodes Foreman Malcom McNeill John Williams Job 
Baxley Gilbert Sellers Benjamin Lancaster Jacob Blount William 
Thompson George Thenor Daniel Buie Junr Angus Black Ambrose 
Powell Benjamin Blount and John Biggs constable sworn to attend 
them

Ordered that Hector McMillan be overseer of the road in room of 
Alexander McNabb

On application Albritain Drake and Josiah Barnes is admited to build a 
grist mill across ashpole swamp in conjunction on their own lands 
below the mouth of little ashpole

Ordered that Neill McNeill be overseer of the road in room of Neill 
Brown

Ordered that Jacob Loe be overseer of the road in room of Charles 
Ivey

Stephen Sterlings - Everet Lees do

John McNeill who was bail for Joseph Carlisle in a suit brought against 
him by Abraham Fauldisons? rendered him in discharge as such when 
he was ordered in custody of the sheriff
