these have been abstracted simply as "acknowledged" or "proved

Ordered that the bridge at Lumberton be a toal bridge for all persons 
residing out of this county and that any person that may undertake to 
keep said bridge in good repair for the term of seven years shall 
receive the following terms for Ferriages viz for each four wheeled 
carriage 2/6 for each two wheel do 1/ for each man and horse 6d for 
each foot person 3d for each head of cattle sheep or hoggs 1 penny 
and said person shall enter into bond with approved security in the 
Panel? sum of two hundred pounds with the county trustee that he will 
keep said bridge in good repair for the term above mentioned and that 
said bridge shall be a free brid[g]e for all the inhabitants of this county

Administratrix of John Gowen deceased returned an inventory of 
deceased's estate and ordered to be filed

Administration on estate of John Danielly deceased granted to Flora 
Danielly who qualified as such and entered into bond in the sum of one 
thousand pounds with James McQueen and Zachariah Jordon her 
securities

 Agerton Willis Esquire returned an execution at the suit of Robert 
Haills agianst Bryan Best for twelve pounds and costs levied by John 
Regan constable on one hundred and fifty acres of land lying on 
Jackson Swamp including the plantation whereon the said Bryan Best 
now live ordered that the sheriff sell the same

Agerton Willis Esquire returned and execution of the suit of Robert 
Hialls against Bryan Best for £9.19.3 and cost levied by John Regan 
constable on 150 acres of land on Jackson swamp including the 
plantation [whereon] the said Best now lives, ordered that the sheriff 
[sell] the same

Agerton Willis Esquire returned and execution at the suit for Thomas 
Ard against Bryan Best for £3.10. and cost levied by John Rea 
constable on one hundred acres of land lying on Jackson swamp 
ordered that the sheriff sell the same

Court adjourned untill nine oclock

Wednesday July 7th 1802

Court met according to adjournment

Present the worshipfull Joseph Wood Elias Barnes Agerton Willis 
Esquires

Ordered that Ann Wilkinson be exempt from paying a poll tax on one 
black poll

Ordered that Daniel Loe be overseer of the road in room of Philip 
Spears

Ordered that the sheriff sell the first Iredells reveals? of the Laws of the 
state and pay the sum for which it sells to the county trustee

Ordered that John Regan and Duncan Campbell Esquires be 
appointed to examine the accounts of Sampson Bridgers County 
trustee and make report to this court when they reported that they have 
examined the said accounts and find a balance due the county of the 
sum of twenty five pounds fifteen shillings and six pence the 
commissions of the Treasurer amounting to ten pounds to be allowed 
him by deduction of the court and to be deducted out of the ? balance 
due the county in his hands

Ordered that Henry Taylor be overseer of the creek in room of James 
Lamb
