Sampson Bridgers Esqr apppointed County Trustee who entered into 
bond in the sum of five hundred pounds with Thomas Sewell and John 
Peter Martin Esquires his secuirties

Robert Haills appointed treasurer of the publick buildings who entered 
into bound in the sum of five hundred pounds with Thomas Sewell an 
John Peter Martin Esquires his securities

Deed from Henry Layton to Joseph Smith proved by John McColl

Court adjourned untill tomorrow nine oclock

Thursday July 8th 1802

Court met according to adjournment

Present the worshipful Joseph Wood Agerton Willis and Duncan 
Campbell Esquries

Ordered that Sion Alford and Duncan Campbell Esqr be inspectors of 
the poll at the ensuring election and that William Barnes and Nevan 
McBride be clerks of the same

James Russel fined twenty shillings for a contempt of the authority of 
this court

John Biggs fined twenty shillings for his nonattendance this day as 
constable

Ordered that John Blount and John Rea constables attend at next 
court

Ordered that John Blount and John Rea constables attend the ensuing 
election and Peter Lamon furnish Tickets Boxes

Thomas Barnes sheriff returned a list of insolvents for the year 1801 
which was allowed

John Blount constable allowed thirty two shillings for four

days attendance this term and John Biggs allowed 24/ for three days at 
this term

Deed from Thomas Barnes Agent for John Willis to Joseph Belton 
acknowledged

Court adjourned untill court in course
