Tuesday October the 5th 1802

Court met according to adjournment

Present the worshipful Thomas Sewell Joseph Wood & Noah Pitman 
Esquires

Ordered that Gilbert Murphey be overseer of the road in room of Peter 
McArthur

Ordered that the sheriff summon the following gentlemen to attend as 
jurors at the next Superior Court to be held for the district of 
Fayetteville / to wit / Daniel Campbell Duncan McNeill Thomas Sewell 
Sion Alford and Alexander Rowland

Ordered that Zadock Arnet be overseer of the road in room of Joel 
Pitman

Pheriby Hammon daughter of Jacob Hammon a man of color who is 
absent being last term illegally bound to Reubin Rozar it is therefore 
ordered that the indentures [be] cancelled & the girl returned to her 
mother

Ordered that the administratix of Daniel Campbell deceased sell the 
personal property of the deceased

Ordered that John Williams be overseer of the road in room of 
Frederick Davis

Ordered that Joab Willis be overseer of the road in room of George 
Thompson

Nevan McBride

Philip Spier who was security for the appearance of Charles Ivey / 
gentleman / to this court rendered him in discharge as when said Ivey 
was ordered in custody of the sheriff

Ordered that Jacob Lee be overseer of the road in room of Charles 
Ivey
