Deed from Arther Braswell to James Hunt proved by Josiah Barnes

Deed from William Horn to Willis Barfield acknowledged

Deed from Michael Barnes to William Ward acknowledged

Deed from William Burford to Lemuel Noyes proved by Joseph Smith

Jacob Braveboy a boy of colour bound apprentice to Zachariah Jordan 
untill he arive to the age of twenty one years now being eight when said 
Zachariah Jordan entered into bond in the sum of two hundred & fifty 
pounds with Sion Alford his security for not moving said boy out of said 
county and to produce him before the court of this county at the 
expiration of his service

Wiley Alford appointed constable in Captain Alfords district who 
entered into bond with Zachariah Jordan his security

David Braveboy a boy of colour bound apprentice to Zachariah Jordan 
untill he arive to the age of twenty one years, now being five, when said 
Zachariah Jordan entered into bond in the sum of two hundred & fifty 
pounds with Sion Alford his security for not moveing said boy out of 
said county and to produce him before the court of this county at the 
expiration of his service

Mary Bird appointed guardian to Wm Bird and Mary Bird who entered 
into bond in the sum of two hundred pounds with Henry Bird her 
security

Ordered that the widow Graham be allowed to turn the post road about 
twenty feet nearer her own house agreeable to her petition, provided 
she put the same in as good order as the law requires

Administration granted to Elizabeth Channell and William Moore on the 
estate of Isham Channell deceased who entered into bond in the sum 
of two hundred pounds with Joseph Wood their security

Ishabud Davis appointed constable in Captain Sterlings district who 
entered into bond in the sum of fifty pounds with William Moore his 
security

Richard Grantham appointed constable in Captain Lees District who 
entered into bond in the sum of fifty pounds with Wm Herring his 
security

Bill of sale from John Willis tto George Moore for a Negroe man 
named James, a negroe woman name Caty & a girl named Catey 
proved by Wm Moore

Thomas Waters appointed constable in Captain Sterlings district who 
entered into bond in the sum of fifty pounds with James Lewis his 
security

Ordered that Joseph Regan Alexander Patterson & James McNeil 
Esquires settle with John Little as administrator to the estate of Duncan 
McNair deceased and make return thereof to the next court

Executor of Nathan Pitman Senr deceased returned an inventory of the 
deceased estate and ordered to be filed

Ordered that William Barnes be overseer of the road from said Barnes 
house to William Thompsons and that he work the following hands / to 
wit / two hand of Josiah Barnes two of Colo Barnes & hands living at 
the Watson place, Emanuel Carter & a hand of Henry Pope living with 
said Carter

Court adjourned untill tomorrow nine oclock
