Ordered that Jonathan Wishart be overseer of the road in room of 
Joseph Wood

Ordered that John Pursel be overseer of the road in room of Malcom 
McLeod

Ordered that John Johnston be overseer of the road in room of John 
Johnston

Ordered that the administrators of Samuel Kennedy deceased have 
leave to sell a negro man by the name of Harry in order to make a 
division among the representatives of the deceased

Ordered that John Applewhite be overseer of the road in room of Ervin 
Grimsley

Ordered that Alexander Johnston be overseer of the road in room of 
Abraham Brown

On motion ordered that Duncan McNeill have leave to build a grist mill 
across the beaver dam branch on his own lands

Ordered that John Regan Esquire be appointed guardian to the minors 
of Robert Council deceased for the special purpose of guarding the 
Interest of said minors at the laying off the dower to the widow of the 
deceased

Ordered that Archibald Buie Alexander Patterson & Duncan Campbell 
Esquires be a committee to settle with Nancy Campbell administratrix 
of the estate of Daniel Campbell deceased and make report thereof to 
next court

Ordered that Archd Buie Alexander Paterson & Duncan Campbell 
Esquires be appointed a committee to settle with the guardian of the 
orphans of Robert Councill deceased

Ordered that Thomas Barnes the present sheriff execute a deed to 
Daniel Molloy for 49 ¾ acres of land sold by [Robert] Haills former 
sheriff for the taxes

Ordered that Gilbert Sellers be overseer of the road in room of 
Matthew Watson

Ordered that Ishmael Dillard be overseer of the road in room of Zadock 
Arnet

Whereas it has been represented to this court by John Councill that 
David Legatt guardian to the orphans of Robert Councill dont treat said 
orphans in such manner as the law require ordered therefore that said 
David Legatt bring said orphans to next court that the court may do 
what they think right in that case

Agreeable to a sale of land made by Robert Haills former sheriff 
ordered that Thomas Barnes the present sheriff execute a deed for 
twelve hundred acres to David Alexander Moore

Duncan Curry appointed constable in Captain Buies district who 
entered into bond with Duncan Campbell & John Little Esquires

The administrators of the estate of Daniel McPherson deceased 
returned the amount sales of said estate amounting to £328..15 
ordered to be filed

Hector McNeill DanielCampbell and Angus Currie who was appointed 
to allot and set off to the widow of Daniel McP[h]erson one years 
provision out of her deceased husbands estate for the support o[f] 
herself and family reported their proceedings which was ordered to be 
filed

Ordered that Duncan McNeills hands Daniel Campbell and John 
McIntagart keep up Duncan McNeills bridge on the raft swamp

Ordered that James Lilly overseer of the road and the hands under him 
hereafter work from John Rowlands to the South Car
