Ordered that Warren Alford be overseer of the road in room of Moses 
Pitman

Ordered that Archibald McLain be overseer of the road in room of 
Charles Seals

Ordered that the following hands hereafter work on the road that leads 
from Lumberton to Fayetteville under John Williams overseer / to wit / 
Robert McAlpin John McMillan Frederick Davis Danl McCraney George 
Thenor & Daniel McLachlan

Ordered that Alfred Rowland Peter Lamon John Gunn and Angus 
Taylor be patroles in Captain Pates District

Ordered that Alexander McMillan be overseer of the road in room of 
Alexander McKay

Deed from William Norment to Danl Chisholm acknowledged

Deed from John Clibourn to William Hawthorn acknoweldged

John Blount & John Rea constable allowed twenty five shillings each 
for three day attendance this term and also allowed sixteen [shilling] 
each for days attendance at last election

Bill of sale from John McColl to Jacob Rhodes acknowledged

Thomas Connerly appointed Inspector of Pork Beef & Slaves? etc? for 
this county who qualified as such

Ordered that Robert Haills Milby Musslewhite David Rozar and William 
Glovier? be authorised to open a road from Lumberton to said Haills 
mill

Ordered that Elias Barnes Joseph Wood & William Norment Esqr be a 
committee to settle with John McColl admr of the estate of John McKay 
and report their proceedings to next court
