John Blount? appointed constable in Captain Sterlings district who 
entered into bond with Benjamin Lee

Wiley Alford appointed constable in Capt Drakes district who entered 
into bond with Zachariah Jordan

John Mac Rae appointed constable in Captain Alfords district who 
entered into bond with James Marguien

Evan Ellis appointed constable in Captain Drakes district who entered 
into bond with Sampson Bridgers his security

Administration on the estate of Archibald McNeill granted to Hector 
McNeill who qualified as such and entered into bond in the sum of fifty 
pounds with Duncan Campbell his security

Ordered that there be a road from or near Hector MacNeills at the post 
road as far as the county line on a direct course to Moore County Court 
house and that the sheriff summon the following personsa jury to lay 
off the same / viz / John Stewart Archd Curry John Curry Daniel 
McIntosh Malcom Stewart Danl Stewart John McBride James Stewart 
John McNeill Malm Gilchrist and Alexander McLeod a jury to lay off the 
same

Court adjourned untill tomorrow ten oclock
