Court met according to adjournment

Present the worshipful Samuel Biggs John Flowers and William 
Herring Esquires

Ordered that Angus McEachen be overseer of the road in room of 
Johnathan Wishart

Bill of sale from Archibald Brown to Neil Brown proved by Patrick 
Brown

Bill of sale from Allen Barnes to Elias Banres proved by Joab Willis

Ordered that Silas Drake be overseer of the road in room of William 
Moore

Ordered that John Powell be exempt from a county and poor tax 490 
pounds worth of town property for the year 1803

Deed from Kenneth Morison to Isaack Sullivan proved by Matthew 
Powers

Deed from Thomas Barnes to Duncan Curry acknowledged

Deed from Hillary Manning to Thomas Hillman proved by John Price

Deed from John Rowland to John Rowland proved by Alfred Rowland

Ordered that Howell Ammons constable bring to next court an orphan 
child by the name of Sarah Bennet

Ordered that John McNeil be overseer of the road in room of 
Alexander Johnston

John P Martin allowed three pounds for two locks for the court house

and six pence on each hundred pounds value of town property and two 
pence on each hundred acres of land.  And for the jail tax six pence on 
each poll and six pence on every hundred pounds value of town 
property and two pence on every hundred acres of land
