oath of...." and then ordered to be registered; to eliminate redundancy, 
these have been abstracted simply as "acknowledged" or "proved 
by...."]

Ordered that the Clerk issue an order which was passed at Court July 
term for building a bridge over Drowning Crrek at Iveys Bluff 

Malcom Nicolson and Archibald Mac Neill who was appointed to the 
office of Justice of the peace came into court and took the several 
oaths necessary for their quallification as such

Ordered that John Brown be exempt from working on any public road 
in consideration of his keeping in good repair for the passage of 
Horses and carriages a bridge across Shoe Heel commonly called 
McFarlands New Bridge above Neill Littles plantation

Ordered that Jesse Barnes be overseer of the road in room of William 
Purvis - Ordered that Everit Lee be overseer of the road in room of 
William Britt?
