Deed from Henry Pope to Josiah Ivy acknowledged

Deed from Barton Bagget to Morgan Drury acknowledged

Henry Bird appointed constable in Captain Regans district who entered 
into bond with Joseph Wood his security

Court adjourned untill Tuesday 10 oclock

Tuesday April the 2nd 1805

Court met according to adjournment

Present the worshipful John Storm Thomas Barnes & John McNeill 
Esquires

Ordered that the sheriff bring to next court or cause to be brought Kay 
? & John McKay orphan children of John McKay deceased so they 
may be dealt with as the law directs

Ordered that Everit Low be overseer of the road from Gilbert Cades 
mill to Lucy Lees Branch

Ordered that William Baker be overseer of the road in room of Nevan 
McMillan

Ordered that the clerk furnish the court with a transcript of the true? 
docket in future

Ordered that John Sterling be overseer of the road in room of William 
Flowers

On application Joshua Mercers mark is admited to be a crop and slit in 
the right ear & half moon over it & in the left ear a crop and half moon 
under it

William Regan came into court and resigned his office as surveyor 
when Duncan McAlpin was appointed to that office

Ordered that Charles Thompson be overseer of the road from the forks 
of the road at Mr. Thompsons old field to where Sampson Pitman 
formerly lived & that the former hands continue to work thereon

Ordered that Gilbert Brumble pay to Lydia Wilson seven pounds for the 
maintenance of a bastard child for the present year whereof he stands 
the reputed father
