Jacob Rhodes appointed guardian to Patsy Pope Barfield who entered 
into bond with Simon Willis his security in the sum of two hundred and 
fifty pounds

William Barnes appointed constable in Captain Sterlings district who 
entered into bond with Willis Loe his security

Whereas by agreement between Jacob Rhodes and the hands 
formerly working on the road from Lumberton to Harrels Ditch ordered 
that Jacob Rhodes be overseer of the road and work his own hands 
and keep in repair the road from Lumberton to the hill on the west side 
of saddle tree swamp and that John Willis be overseer from said hill to 
Harrels Ditch and that the usual hands work under him

of Lumberton be recinded and that the bounds hereafter be confined to 
the Publick Square no extending in any of the streets adjoining

Ordered that James Barfield Benjamin Lovet Henry Lovet William 
Purvis Levi Cox and Simon Cox Junior for the future work on the Stage 
Road from Lumberton to Andrew Fulmore's and that they be exempt 
from working on any other road

Inventory of the estate of Joseph Adkison deceased returned by his 
administrators

An account of the estate of Joseph Adkison deceased as sold by his 
administrators amounting to two hundred and fifty four pounds thirteen 
and six pence was returned

The jury who were summoned to lay off the dower of Elizabeth Adkison 
widow of Joseph Adkison made their report

Court adjourned untill tomorrow morning 10 oclock

Wednesday April 3d 1805 Court met according to adjournment

Present the worshipful John Storm Sampson Bridgers Thomas Sewell 
& John Peter Martin Esquires

Ordered that John West and William Britt Junior be added to the creek 
as hands to work under Henry Taylor

Wiley Alford appointed constable in Captain Jordans district who 
entered into bond with John Fiveash his security
